Kerry Month of Enterprise celebrates 10 years in 2023.

KMOE takes place across the entire month of March and gives established businesses and budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to network and discover the assistance available to them in growing and sustaining a business in Kerry. Over 80 events and workshops took place in 2022, with 2,500+ attendees.

Building a strong economy depends on creating places that can foster enterprise and innovation and attract investment and talent. Kerry Month of Enterprise is a collaborative initiative between Munster Technological University, Kerry County Council, Kerry Local Enterprise Office, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Udarás na Gaeltachta, Kerry Innovation Centre, North, East & West Kerry Development (NEWKD), South Kerry Partnership Development (SKDP), and IRD Duhallow. Together, we will build on a legacy of strong cross-sector relationships with start-ups, innovators and industry leading companies and will work with its many stakeholders to ensure Kerry leverages the potential of its location.

Starting and growing a business can be daunting but the many supports available throughout the county to guide and advise through the process. Inter-agency cooperation and coordination is strong in Kerry, creating a focused enterprise development strategy dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs. Through these collaborative organisations, up and coming entrepreneurs can avail of mentoring, workshops networking, prototyping, market research and funding supports.
