Kerry Month of Enterprise (KMOE) is a month long celebration of Enterprise activities that take place across County Kerry throughout the year. A series of events organised during the month gives established businesses and budding entrepreneurs an opportunity to network and discover the assistance available to them in growing and sustaining a business in Kerry.
The month is a collaborative initiative between Kerry County Council, Kerry Local Enterprise Office, Enterprise Ireland, Munster Technological University (Centre for Entrepreneurship Enterprise Development – CEED), North, East & West Kerry Development (NEWKD); South Kerry Partnership Development (SKDP), IRD Duhallow, IDA Ireland and Udarás na Gaeltachta. In addition a number of enterprise events are hosted by KerrySciTech and the Kerry Hub Network.
The Kerry Month of Enterprise is also supported by media partners The Kerryseye, The Kerryman and Radio Kerry.
A spotlight on entrepreneurial activities
Starting a business can be daunting but the many supports available throughout the county are there to help and advise through the process. Inter-agency cooperation and coordination is strong in Kerry, creating a focused enterprise development strategy dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs.
